FAQs & EquipmentHere are the answers to some of the questions we are commonly asked, together with details of our equipment. When are you available? We are available 7 nights a week. Please contact us for availability on a specific date. What type of venues have you played at? All kinds of Clubs, Pubs, Restaurants, and Wedding venues. How long do you play for?A typical live performance will consist of 2 x 1 hour sets, plus around 20-30 minutes of solo piano if required. Of course, the length of the performance can be tailored to your exact requirements. What would a typical evening reception booking consist of?We treat every booking on an individual basis and can be flexible to meet your needs. Typically though, we will make travel arrangements in order to arrive at the venue for 7pm, and have our equipment set up and soundchecked for 8pm. We can then provide a mix of background music, solo piano, and our live set as required throughout the evening. Please note that unless other arrangements have been made, we ask you to supply your own cd for the first dance - in this way you can be sure it is the version of your song that you are expecting! If you choose to include a disco as well, this can be until 12.30am, unless the venue stipulates an earlier finish time due to noise restrictions, licensing, etc. An earlier set-up time and/or a later finish may be available by prior arrangement. What are your Space and Power Requirements? We are able to perform at any suitable venue - from a local hall or pub, to the Cardiff Coal Exchange. We offer a fully self contained show, including lighting effects and the provision of a Disco in addition to the main performance if required. The minimum space we require to set up our equipment, including PA system and lights, is 4.5 metres width by 3.5 metres depth (approx 14ft by 11 ft), and at least 2.3 metres height to accommodate our lights. Ideally, a little more space than this results in a stage setup with a more balanced and pleasing appearance. Our minimum power requirements are the availability of at least 2 or preferably 3 mains wall sockets capable of supplying 5 Kilowatts power in total. Most venues are conversant with the needs of live bands, so please check with them if you are in any doubt. Sound Equipment High Quality Mackie Active PA System
